Skylight, Dix, and Lower Wolf Jaw, Adirondacks, NY
The trip was a week out wandering in the high peaks area. I ended up starting at the ADK loj and camping the first night at Marcy Dam. Then I passed by Lake Arnold and hit Mount Skylight before camping in Panther Gorge. The next day I went south around Elk Lake and camping at the foot of Dix. The following day was spent doing just Dix and camping at the first leanto headed toward Keene Valley. Next I passed near Keene Valley and climbed Lower Wolf Jaw before spending the night at John Brooks Lodge. The following day I hiked out to the ADK Lodge. Until after the night at the foot of Dix it rained or misted constantly. The first two nights were spent in my tarp, the second two in leantos.
